Do I need a visa to travel in Brazil ?

If you are from the United States , you need to get a tourist visa to enter Brazil . Citizens from countries within the European Union (and Switzerland ) do not need to acquire a visa for tourism. A complete list of visa exempt countries can be found under the "VISAS" section on the website of the Brazilian Consulate General of Houston:

How strenuous are the trips?

Most parts of our tours are of minimal to moderate physical intensity. Horses will do part of the walking for us and the hikes are fairly short across level but sometimes rolling or rocky terrain. A few activities, like rappelling, may be slightly demanding but does not require previous physical preparation or knowledge.

Do I need any horseback riding experience?

Horseback riding experience is not necessary. As with people, horses have unique personalities ranging from more animated to docile. We do our best to correctly match the horse with the rider's abilities and to make sure that you are comfortable on horseback. We will give basic instruction to less experienced riders. Riding helmets will be provided and are strongly recommended. For some of our more intense horseback riding trips we require riding experience.

Do I need previous training or experience for any of the activities?

No. All of our guides are highly skilled and trained professionals. Our guides will instruct and assist you during each activity. Our safety requirements for all of our activities meet or exceed the international standards for each activity.
